Josh had a bright smile and a light sense of humor. Anyone who met Josh was drawn to his thoughtfulness, open mind and his work ethic. Even at his young age, he had already demonstrated a talent for veterinary medicine, specifically cattle reproduction.

The Josh Howle Memorial Scholarship was started to honor an amazing friend, son, and brother whose life was lost too soon. Through this scholarship, Josh’s giving spirit and dreams of becoming a veterinarian will live on.

A total of $25,000 must initially be raised in order for Josh’s scholarship to become an official endowment, after which the scholarship will be awarded each year to a deserving student. Like Josh, the recipient of this scholarship would be a South Carolina resident accepted into the UGA College of Veterinary Medicine program with an interest in cattle reproduction.
